Listed below are exam process for two leading globally recognised ICT qualifications that employers see as prerequisite in the modern workplace.

 

ECDL Certifications

ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence), known as ICDL outside Europe, certifications have various ability levels from beginner to intermediate. The ECDL portfolio also maps to ITQ qualifications at levels 1, 2 and 3, helping learners gain points towards an ITQ certificate. ECDL modules can be tested either by online automated test software or manually marked by a trained professional. All testing methods require learners attend an ECDL authorised testing centre. ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence) certifications have various ability levels from beginner to intermediate. ICDL modules levels 1 & 2 can be tested either by online software or manually marked by a trained professional, level 3 ICDL modules currently can only be manually marked. ITQ Certifications

ITQ (Information Technology Qualification) is the new IT user qualification and training package that has been created by employers for employers to ensure their staff are trained in exactly the IT skills that they need to carry out their roles. ITQ has replaced the National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) for IT and computing in the UK. The new NVQ/SVQ for IT users (ITQ 2009) has been developed as a comprehensive project that involved a full review of the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for IT users.
